AMAZING ARTISTS
In this fast paced society, we often don't take time to appreciate the value in art. YOU are going to begin this New Year making sure that the rest of the class appreciates YOUR talent.
Your job is to do the following:
- select an artist of your choice
- once you have made the selection you will begin preparing your oral presentation (which will last 4-7 minutes)
- you will find a compete list of what you will need in your presentaiton below:
- YOU will become the artist and present the information in first person
- Your presentation will be created using Google Presentations - but there is ONE catch... your presentation cannot include any words. You can use the notes section though to place point form reminders of what that page contains... but DO NOT READ directly from these notes PLEASE!
- Your presentation must include: your life story (at lesat the highlights), 5-7 pieces of your work (where you will share the title, inspiraiton and any other interesting facts about the piece), a description of the art style you are famous for
- Finally, you will create your OWN piece of art by this artist (**I will be assessing effort here as I realize you are not in fact a famous artist ;)
** Each artist can only be selected by one person. I will createa google form in our shared drive called AMAZING ARTISTS so that you will know who has already been taken. The artists will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.
